Sarah was raised in Rye, New York and after college, she and her husband moved to Northeast Ohio. They raised their three children in Warren, and it has been the family’s home for nearly 30 years.
Sarah was interested in the law from a very young age. It was her respect for our Constitution that led her to enroll in law school at the University of Akron School of Law. Sarah feels it is her duty to use her legal education to help people who are without a voice or feel lost in our legal system. Her 22-year career includes work in state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels. Sarah has litigated cases in state and federal court in many areas of the law such as first and second amendment law, constitutional law, civil rights, domestic relations and criminal defense all over and outside the State of Ohio and she has tried more than 40 cases to verdict. Sarah has taken cases all the way to the US Supreme Court.
Sarah is a zealous advocate for her clients. As a civil rights attorney, Sarah zealously fights for her clients’ rights. She has represented victims of police brutality, prisoner mistreatment and other illegal conduct perpetrated by law enforcement and corrections personnel and won landmark decisions in two particular cases where police misconduct and indifference caused injury to prisoners.
Sarah will fight for you!
