Ryan Ramsayer

Ryan grew up in Northern Minnesota in the small city of Bemidji. After graduating from High School there, Ryan joined the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman. Ryan is proud to have served this country and been part of the first Marine units into Afghanistan in December of 2001.

After his enlistment ended, Ryan returned to his hometown to attend Bemidji State University. There he earned a degree in History, which had always been a passion. Based upon his academic performance, Ryan was offered a scholarship to Michigan State College of Law.

Ryan has now lived in Michigan since 2006. After graduating Cum Laude from MSU Law, Ryan began working at the Barone Defense Firm. Ryan has worked at the firm since 2010. In that time he has defended hundreds of clients in court. As a litigator, Ryan has fought through motions and trials and won hard-earned victories for his clients. He has also helped restore licenses to many deserving clients.

Ryan has also worked as an Independent Program Attorney with U.S. LawShield. Ryan travels around Michigan providing education on legal self defense. Ryan is an avid 2nd Amendment Supporter and has defended many clients’ right to self-defense.
