James F. Stanley

James Stanley has over 30 years experience practicing criminal and DUI law. He has handled thousands of criminal and DUI cases and has conducted over 150 jury trials. Mr. Stanley is a former Colorado Senior Deputy District Attorney. He knows how to evaluate the merits of a criminal case, detect defects in police investigations, recognize when an individual’s constitutional rights have been violated, discover procedural errors and make the right decisions on how to handle the case. These skills come from evaluating thousands of police investigations and preparing criminal and DUI cases for trial. If the police have crossed the line and in any way violated an individual’s constitutional rights, Mr. Stanley knows how to recognize and uncover this, which can seriously hinder or completely prevent the government from prosecuting a case. Mr. Stanley, with his experience as a former senior prosecutor, has unique insight into what is involved with the decision making process and analysis of a criminal prosecution.
