Jennifer Zide

A native Californian, Ms. Zide received her Bachelor’s Degree from New York University and her law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While in Law School, Ms. Zide clerked with the Los Angeles County Public Defender, the Alternate Public Defender of Los Angeles County and the Federal Public Defender. In addition to her work in private practice, Ms. Zide has experience as a deputy public defender in Mendocino County, representing clients from arraignment through trial in a wide variety of misdemeanor and felony cases, including driving under the influence, drugs, property crimes and violent crimes. In private practice, Ms. Zide has handled a wide variety of misdemeanor and felony cases ranging from driving under the influence, to other driving-related offenses, to cases involving drug use, possession and sales, to property crimes, and crimes of threat and violence. Ms. Zide is a member in good standing of the State Bar of California. She is also a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, the Criminal Defense Bar of Ventura County, and the California Public Defenders Association. Her office donates to a variety of charities, including those supporting animal welfare, the environment, and organizations providing free music education to young people.
