I enjoy working on a variety of legal matters for our firm.
Some of the more regular tasks include representation of clients in an array of tax disputes before the IRS and the Illinois Department of Revenue. These cases often work there way through the administrative level, up through appeals, and often to the United States Tax Court. My clients have scored significant victories in Audit Defense, Offer in Compromise and Innocent Spouse cases.
I am also experienced in drafting employment contracts such as employment and separation and termination agreements as well as restrictive covenants.
I represent buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions.
Our firm is also a friend to small business, often consulting with start ups to determine what sort of business entity is best suited for their venture as well helping them to file the requisite paperwork necessary with both the state and the IRS.

- I represented over 250 clients in their tax resolution cases with the IRS and state governments through a three step process: conducted investigations with IRS and state government agents to determine the extent of a client’s tax liability; achieved compliance by coordinating with in-house accountants to file a client’s necessary tax returns; and resolved the outstanding tax liabilities by presenting a thorough case review to a client that detailed his current and future financial condition and laid out the best strategies to resolve his tax liability. I communicated with clients regularly to maintain accurate household income and expense figures. I tracked and managed case files and upcoming tasks using the Microsoft Suite and IRSLogics.
