Alisha A. Wood

As founder and Partner, Alisha A. Wood specializes in misdemeanor and felony criminal defense and DUI. Ms. Wood is licensed to practice law in all state courts in the state of California and the United States District Court, Southern District. Ms. Wood’s significant experience in criminal defense and DUI has provided her with the necessary legal, procedural, and practical understanding and expertise necessary to provide exceptional representation of her clients. Ms. Wood expertly fights for her clients utilizing her knowledge obtained not only through her impressive experience, but her ongoing education in the criminal field by attending criminal defense and DUI conferences with regard to new developments in law, procedure, and forensics, that enable her to obtain favorable results for her clients. Not only has Ms. Wood participated in conferences as an attendee, she has also spoken at the National level regarding her work in DUI cases. Ms. Wood has made a significant impact in the legal community and was recognized nationally when she was selected as California’s only delegate to the National College of DUI Defense in 2013 and named one of San Diego’s Top Young Attorneys the same year by the San Diego Daily Transcript. In 2014, she was nominated as a Top Influential by the San Diego Daily Transcript. In 2015, the National Trial Lawyers recognized Ms. Wood as Top 40 Under 40 in the area of Criminal Law. In addition, she was invited as only one of six attorneys in California, to join the teaching faculty for the National College of DUI Defense. Super Lawyers has also recognized Ms. Wood as a 2016 Rising Stars and she was featured Attorney of the Month by San Diego Attorney Journal, April 2016 edition.
