Alan Jeffrey Levine

I became a member of the Georgia Bar in 2006.

My first position as a lawyer was with the Office of the Cobb County Solicitor General. There, I prosecuted all manner of misdemeanor offense including DUIs, domestic violence, shoplifting, police officer obstruction, marijuana possession cases and more.

During my final year and a half with the Solicitors Office I was the Cobb County DUI Court prosecutor. In that position, I worked with a team to enforce the rules of DUI Court as participants progressed through their sentence and treatment.

After leaving the Solicitors office in 2013, I became a part-time Magistrate Judge reviewing applications for search and arrest warrants. At the same time, I joined a boutique estate litigation firm handling probate, wills, trusts and guardianship disputes. Then, in 2017, I opened up my own solo practice and returned to the practice of criminal law, but on the defense side.

Now, as a criminal defense attorney, I have helped clients deal with felony drug, domestic violence and burglary charges. I have handled appeals dealing with the most sever charges for which a person may be convicted.

All the while, I am privileged to serve our city of Marietta on our Board of Education, representing Ward 1. In my spare time, I enjoy playing small roles in movies and television productions thanks to Atlanta’s burgeoning film industry. When I am not defending the accused in real life, you may see me pretending to be a sheriff’s deputy or a detective on the silver screen.

But no matter all the above, for me, when I work with a client, it’s all about defending their rights, protecting their reputation, and focusing on results.
