- Biography
As a Cincinnati Ohio personal injury lawyer and mediator, I can see where at a young age my parents instilled in me the need to help others. And my career path has always been about people that needed help. From working as a social worker helping abused and neglected children to working with disabled and emotionally challenged I’ve always been in the helping profession.
Since becoming a personal injury attorney in Cincinnati, Ohio over 30 years ago my passion for helping people continues. Except now, as a car accident injury trial lawyer I have the power to right the wrongs done to my clients by the carelessness of others and the callousness of big insurance. Early in my law career I watched and learned from my mentor that a case had to be prepared and then 99% of the time a good settlement would follow. If not we put on our client’s case with passion and fury.
As time has gone on the mediation model of dispute resolution has taken hold. I have gone to /Harvard to take their executive mediation course to position myself to help my clients get better mediated settlements. In fact I have started my own mediation service.

My background experience helps me understand the issues and validate the injured party. almost always people in disputes want to be valued and acknowledged. Through the use of empathy I always try to acknowledge everyone’s views. I strive to have each party feel understood. I also strive that the other parties understand each others positions and interests. I always look for the “black swan,” that kernel of information that was unknown before mediation, that may be the piece that helps resolution.
