- Mr. Barnett served as a military prosecutor at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, California from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, he deployed to Iraq as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for 3D Marine Aircraft Wing. From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Barnett served at the Pentagon as a litigation consultant and officer misconduct/promotions officer. He remains in the Marine Corps Reserve.
