David Joseph Dischley

David J. Dischley is a highly experienced criminal defense attorney and the founder of Dischley Law, PLLC. With nearly 15 years of practice, he has established a formidable presence in Virginia’s legal landscape, defending clients against a wide range of criminal charges in both state and federal courts.

Attorney Dischley’s journey in law began with his graduation cum laude from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in administration of justice. He then earned his Bachelor of Science in the same field from George Mason University, followed by his Juris Doctor from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. While in law school, he was actively involved in the Trial Lawyer’s Association and gained practical experience by leading over 100 bench trials under the supervision of licensed attorneys.

Before founding his firm, Dischley served as a prosecutor in Fauquier and Loudoun counties, where he honed his skills and gained deep insights into the prosecution’s strategies. His background also includes serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and working in various law enforcement capacities, further enriching his understanding of the criminal justice system from multiple perspectives.
