Kristen Epifania

Kristen Epifania is an Associate Attorney with Williams Law Group. Her practice is focused on criminal defense matters, as well as divorce and custody matters. With two office locations in New Jersey, Kristen practices in multiple NJ counties and is able to serve clients throughout the state.

Prior to joining the firm, Kristen was an attorney with the Monmouth County Public Defender’s Office and represented clients in Superior Court for indictable-level offenses. She is experienced in both New Jersey and New York matters, as she worked with a Manhattan-based criminal defense firm for five years upon graduating from law school.

Kristen graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, the Lisle Scholarship, and the Lark-Barranco Scholarship. While there, Kristen pursued a specialized Certificate in Criminal Law and gained practical experience in the criminal sector. She interned with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in the Crimes Against Children bureau, as well as with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Seeking to be involved in the community, Kristen spent time in Memphis, Tennessee, working as a Juvenile Justice Representative with the Shelby County Public Defender’s Office, as well as with Sanctuary for Families in New York City, where she assisted with uncontested divorce proceedings stemming from domestic violence and sex trafficking cases.

Kristen is admitted to practice law in the states of New Jersey and New York, as well as the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York. She was honored to be named a Rising Star Attorney by Super Lawyers from 2019 through to 2021. Compassionate and aggressive, Kristen will go the extra mile to fight for those she represents.
