Laura G. Zois

Mr. Zois is a founding partner of Miller & Zois and one of the most accomplished trial attorneys in Maryland. Her practice focuses on representing victims as lead attorney in catastrophic injury and death cases against negligent corporations and healthcare providers.

Before establishing her own firm, Ms. Zois was a defense attorney for major insurance companies including State Farm and Allstate.

Ms. Zois has tried over 300 tort cases and has a track record in high-stakes malpractice and personal injury claims. She has won numerous multi-million-dollar cases including a $10,000,000 verdict in a complex medical malpractice case and an $8,000,000 verdict in an auto accident case.

Ms. Zois takes each of her cases to trial as if they are a family member. She is a fearless and zealous advocate for the people she represents with a passion for pursuing justice and fair compensation.

Ms. Zois has been recognized with numerous professional accolades and awards during her accomplished legal career. She was recently inducted as a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, a national organization that limits its membership to 100 of the country’s leading trial lawyers. Ms. Zois is one of only 8 women inducted into this prestigious organization.

Ms. Zois has also been inducted as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, which is an honor reserved for the top %1 of trial lawyers in each state. She is a member of the Dean’s Inner Circle at the University of Baltimore School of Law. She has been honored as a Super Lawyer by the Maryland SuperLawyers® Magazine for the last 10 years and has been identified as one of the Top 50 women lawyers for the last 3 years. Ms. Zois has also been named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Maryland. Ms. Zois has also been an instructor at the Judicial College of Maryland Department of Judicial Education where she taught a CLE class on personal injury law to Maryland judges and magistrates.
