MARY ELIZABETH GALVAN, of Galvan & Fritzen, an Association of Sole Practitioners, has practiced domestic relations law, employment law, civil rights law, and criminal law since 1980. In addition to her litigation practice, she has conducted employment law seminars since 1991, drafts and reviews personnel manuals for Wyoming employers in the private sector, and is available for mediation in the area of employment conflict resolution. In 2011, she represented the successful appellant in Christianson v. Christianson, 2011 WY 90, which recognized same sex marriages in Wyoming for purposes of obtaining subject matter jurisdiction in divorce cases. She has also conducted continuing legal education seminars in the areas of professional responsibility, domestic relations, depositions, and, in the criminal area, on sexual abuse litigation.
