- Biography
For more than sixteen years, R. Chad Duffield has had the honor of representing hundreds of individuals and families who were injured or who lost loved ones as a result of tractor-trailer, automobile, and motorcycle collisions, coal mining accidents, defective products, and improperly maintained premises. He has been selected as a Top Ten Civil Attorney in West Virginia by the National Trial Lawyers every year since 2015 and has been with Farmer, Cline & Campbell since 2006.
While he handles a multitude of personal injury cases, Mr. Duffield focuses a substantial part of his practice on tractor-trailer and commercial vehicle collisions. Mr. Duffield holds a Class A CDL Learner’s Permit in West Virginia and has actually operated a tractor-trailer as part of the training he received through the Legacy Corporation International’s tractor-trailer driver training and instruction for legal professionals. He has been named a Top Ten Trucking Trial Lawyer in West Virginia by the National Trial Lawyers since 2017 and is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. He knows the regulations that apply to commercial motor vehicles and how to maximize legal recoveries in these types of cases. He enjoys complex cases. His opponents respect him.
