Ramsey Taylor

I am the founder and attorney at Taylor Legal Law Firm, based in Washington DC. I help businesses of all sizes and social entrepreneurs (non-profits) handle their legal needs and everyday challenges, so you can focus on what matters most – your work and your business. My goal at Taylor Legal is to provide your business with fast, efficient, practical legal advice that works in real life, not only on paper.

Before founding Taylor Legal, I spent two decades practicing international business law in the US, as well as Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. I worked in a number of different types of organizations: traditional large law firms and small boutique law firms. I was part of an earlier dot com organization in the late 90s internet boom, and I worked for one the world’s largest and most profitable international energy companies.

My passion is to work with people who really care about what they chose to do in life and the impact it has on the world; with people for whom their daily activities are more than just a stable paycheck, but represent a dream, a hope or a goal. I want to travel through life with people who do not let the bureaucracy get in the way of getting things done but who want to succeed on their own merits.

I now run my own firm and the unexpected bonus of opening Taylor Legal is that despite decades of experience and working in many countries, I find I am now always learning new things. I am constantly learning about new technologies that make small firms competitive with the big ones, I learn from clients about their businesses and how to make the world a better and richer place and I learn from other lawyers about different areas of law. I am now better able to put the “whole picture” together, and I feel alive working with my new clients, and I want to make them succeed.
